a story (told by an uztazah at the sgExpo on 16-3-08 during the maulid rasul event)
about a man who wishes to further his studies at mecca, but his old mother do not wish for him to leave her alone, as she is old, she pleads with me that she loves her son so much and would miss him so much if he left.
that night the young man, quietly left his home to mecca for studies, unknown to him mom, come morning when the mum woke up, he called for him, but he didint response. and her mum knew he has left her all alone despite her pleads for him not to leave her. The mother felt hurt and broken hearted, she ran out of her house hoping to catch up with him as she misses him so much but she is old and not able to walk fast enough to catch up with him
on her knees and in tears she cries, how her son who she has given both, given all her love to is willing to do this to her, to hurt her, she prayed to allah to teach his son a lesson
